The Blue Zone

I have been doing a lot of reading about life expectancy and have joined the Blue Zones group. Their website is www.bluezones.com – if you check it out you will find all sorts of material on healthy living, and read about how they are transforming communities in many parts of the world.

The name “blue zones” is derived from areas in the world like Okinawa where people tend to live longer than in many other countries. The website has a great life expectancy calculator enabling you to get some idea of how long you might live. According to their figures I get to 96 –  here’s hoping.
