Cars – Don’t buy new

“Fortune is like the market; there are many times, if you can stay a little, the price will fall.” – Francis Bacon

If you want to blow money away at a fast rate of knots, buy a brand new motorcar. Most of them lose at least 20% of their value the moment you drive them out of the showroom. You’ll save a lot of money by looking for a carefully maintained one-year-old car which you can often get for just 2/3 of the new price.
